Connect WordPress to TMXIO

Use this flow when WordPress remains on another host and TMXIO connects to it.

1. Install and activate the supported TMXIO plugin in WordPress Admin.
2. Open the plugin connection page.
3. Start the connection flow and authenticate to the intended TMXIO Account.
4. Choose or create the matching Website.
5. Approve the connection.
6. Return to TMXIO and confirm the Website shows a healthy Connection Status.
7. Run a connection refresh and confirm the plugin inventory updates.

The WordPress address and public HTTPS address must be reachable and consistent with the intended domain. Firewalls, basic authentication, maintenance mode, REST API restrictions, or bot challenges can block validation.

Connection Status describes communication with the WordPress installation. It does not describe TMXIO hosting health.

WordPress Multisite

Network activation loads the TMXIO plugin across the network, but each Website keeps its own TMXIO connection. To manage both a main Website and a child Website, open each Website’s own WordPress dashboard and connect it to its corresponding TMXIO Website. This also applies to subfolder networks, where multiple Websites share one hostname.

Do not start a child-Website connection from Network Admin. Switch to that Website’s dashboard first, then confirm TMXIO shows a separate healthy connection for each connected Website.
