Track Website Migrations

Open Account → Operations → Migrations to create or resume migration work.

Before starting, record:

  • the source host and production domain;
  • the destination Website Runtime and Hosting Relationship;
  • the planned cutover window;
  • the person authorized to change DNS;
  • the rollback decision and deadline.

Create the migration once, then follow the stage shown in TMXIO. A migration stage is operation-specific state; it does not replace Website Lifecycle, Hosting Status, or Connection Status.

Do not change DNS while data transfer or verification is incomplete. At cutover, verify the public domain, TLS, primary application paths, sign-in, and customer-critical transactions. Keep the source unchanged until the rollback window closes.

If a stage fails, retain the migration record and contact support with the migration identifier and failing stage. Starting a replacement migration discards useful diagnostic context.
