Organize Clients and Labels

Use Clients for customer ownership. Use Labels for portfolio attributes that can apply across customers.

Create one client record for each customer relationship that needs its own access, reporting, or billing boundary. Attach Websites to the correct client before generating customer-facing reports.

Use labels for stable operational groupings such as business unit, service tier, campaign, or maintenance cohort. Avoid labels that duplicate health state or temporary task state; those values become stale and undermine filters.

Before removing a client or label, check reports, saved filters, access flows, and automation that may still rely on it.
